Sweet Potato Casserole

Sweet potato casserole is a holiday dinner tradition...a tradition we’ve improved upon with the addition of Stuffed Puffs!


  • 2 ½ pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • ⅓ cup softened butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, divided
  • 1 bag Stuffed PuffsTM Filled Marshmallows


  1. In a large pot, boil sweet potatoes until fork tender. When sweet potatoes are finished cooking, remove from stove top and preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Drain sweet potatoes and place in a large heat-proof bowl. Add butter, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Mash until smooth and well mixed.
  3. Stir in ¾ cup pecans.
  4. Transfer sweet potatoes to 9 x 13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Sprinkle sweet potatoes with remaining pecans. 
  6. Cut Stuffed Puffs marshmallows in half. Layer on top of sweet potatoes, chocolate side down, covering the entire dish.
  7. Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
